In December 07 The RCS Core group of AIMST School of Medicine along with the CRC, Alor Setar, Kedah has started the process of Research Capacity Strengthening for the full time and part time faculty of AIMST. The first workshop on research methods was conducted in December 07. A follow up workshop in research protocols will be held in January 08. On 4th January 08 Dr. S.P. Pani, Research Coordinator, presented a paper on the process of "systematic reviews" in research
Geriatric health will be an area of concern for health services in the near future especially in Malaysia. The RCS Core group, school of medicine has identified this as a thrust area for research. A "systematic review" of issues related to geriatric health is required. Faculty members desirous of participating in this systematic review are invited to post their ideas,comments and queries on this site.
